🏥 Travel RN | Inpatient Acute Dialysis | Janesville, WI 🏥
Are you a Dialysis specialist who thrives in an acute care setting? Join this dedicated inpatient team in Janesville and utilize your critical care expertise to provide life-sustaining treatments to hospitalized patients.
✨ Financial Breakdown (Weekly)
Taxable Pay: $1,400.00
Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246.00
Total Gross Weekly: $2,646.00
✨ Assignment Overview
📅 Duration: 13 Weeks | ASAP Start
☀️ Schedule: Days | 40 Hours Guaranteed
🔄 Rotation: Every other weekend and rotating holidays.
📞 On-Call: Average of 3–4 days per month and one weekend per month.
📍 Location: Janesville, WI (Near the IL border; easy access to Madison and Rockford).
🩺 Role Highlights
Acute Intervention: Provide high-acuity dialysis treatments within an inpatient setting, collaborating closely with nephrologists and hospitalists.
Full-Process Nursing: Utilize the nursing process to assess, develop, and execute individualized plans of care, including patient and family education.
Medication & Treatment: Administer prescribed medications and dialysis-specific treatments in accordance with WI State Practice Acts and hospital policies.
Clinical Consultant: Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other hospital units (ICU, Med-Surg) regarding the patient’s longitudinal dialysis plan.
Quality Advocacy: Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance to enhance patient safety and experience.
📋 Mandatory Requirements
Licensure: Active Wisconsin (WI) or Compact/Multi-State RN License.
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS are strictly required prior to start.
Experience: Proven experience in Inpatient Acute Dialysis is required.
Critical Thinking: Ability to appropriately escalate safety concerns through the chain of command.
