Join a dedicated surgical team in the heart of the Rockies! As a Surgical Tech at IMH, you will play a critical role in the perioperative phase, ensuring every procedure is supported by precision, organized instrumentation, and a commitment to patient safety.
✨ Financial Breakdown (Weekly)
Taxable Pay: $1,080.00
Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246.00

✨ Assignment Overview
📅 Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: ASAP
🔄 Shift: Rotating | 36 Hours Guaranteed
📍 Location: Laramie, WY (Home of the University of Wyoming)
🏥 Setting: Perioperative Services / Main OR
🩺 Role Highlights
Perioperative Support: Organize, prepare, and safely handle specialized equipment and sterile supplies for a wide range of surgical procedures.
Surgeon Synergy: Master and utilize surgeon preference cards to anticipate needs and ensure a seamless operative flow.
Instrumentation Expert: Demonstrate high-level proficiency with surgical instrumentation, ensuring all sets are complete and functional prior to the start of care.
Patient Education: Assist in the provision and reinforcement of patient education according to the individualized plan of care.
Professional Accountability: Maintain ethical and legal standards, protecting confidential information while working effectively with or without immediate supervision.
📋 Mandatory & Preferred Qualifications
Experience: Previous hospital experience and instrumentation proficiency are required. Previous Surgical Tech experience is strongly preferred.
Certification: CST (ASA) preferred. If not currently certified, must be willing to obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
Basic Life Support: Must hold or obtain BLS within 60 days of hire.
Education: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred (IMH is known for being a supportive learning environment).
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and "customer service" communication skills for interacting with staff and the public.
