Taxable Pay: $1,080.00

Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246.00

Total Gross Weekly: $2,326.00

📅 Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: ASAP

☀️ Shift: Days | 36 Hours Guaranteed

📍 Location: Hermiston, OR (Good Shepherd Health Care System)

🏥 Department: Operating Room / Surgical Services

🔄 Float Policy: Agency staff will be floated to other qualified departments prior to core staff.

🩺 Role Highlights
Operative Facilitation: Prepare and organize sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for a variety of invasive procedures.

Intraoperative Excellence: Maintain a highly organized sterile field, anticipate the surgical team's needs, and ensure ongoing sterility through corrective action when necessary.

Collaborative Safety: Perform rigorous counting/accounting procedures in concert with the RN circulator.

Post-Op Stewardship: Clean and prepare instruments for transport to decontamination and assist in room turnover for subsequent patients.

Confidentiality: Strictly maintain patient privacy and comply with all hospital policies and DNV program requirements.

📋 Mandatory Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Certification: Current BLS (AHA) required.

Preferred: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) is highly preferred.

Long-Term Note: If the assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) will be required.
