📅 Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: 3/10/2026
☀️ Schedule: Days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
🗓️ Weekends: Some weekend rotations required.
📍 Location: Lawton, OK
🏥 Setting: Acute Care Hospital & Inpatient Rehab (IRF)
👕 Dress Code: Red Scrubs OR Khaki pants with a Red Polo.
🩺 Role Highlights
Acute Care Intervention: Provide bedside evaluations and early mobilization for patients across medical, surgical, and cardiac units.
Rehab Specialization: Work within the inpatient rehab unit to help patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological injuries regain their functional independence.
Interdisciplinary Care: Collaborate daily with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physiatrists to meet discharge goals.
Patient Advocacy: Design individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs (HEPs) to ensure a safe transition home.
📋 Mandatory Requirements
Licensure: Active Oklahoma (OK) Physical Therapy License.
Certification: Current BLS (AHA).
Experience: Previous experience in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings is highly preferred.
Adaptability: Willingness to rotate between units as department needs change.
