🌺 Travel Respiratory Therapist | Hilo, HI | Hilo Benioff Medical Center 🌺
This 15-week night-shift assignment is designed for a highly skilled "All-Ages" therapist. Because you'll be managing adult ventilators one hour and neonatal stabilization (NRP) the next, this role requires a clinician who is truly versatile.

📅 Duration: 15 Weeks | Start Date: 04/06/2026
🌙 Shift: Nights (18:30 – 07:00)
⚖️ Guaranteed Hours: No guarantee of hours (Typical for some Hawaii state-run contracts).
📍 Location: Hilo, HI (Big Island)
🩺 Role Highlights
Full-Spectrum Care: Provide continuous airway management and ventilator support for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal populations.
Technology: Utilize PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60 non-invasive support, and Para Pac transport vents.
Medication & Charting: Use Pyxis for medication management and computerized charting (The hospital recently transitioned to Epic).
Physician Collaboration: Act as a key consultant for physicians during CPR and critical interventions.
📋 Mandatory Requirements
Licensure: Must have an active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License by the start date.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. RRT and NRP are highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Note: This facility does not accept first-time travelers.
