Northern Montana Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that serves as the primary medical hub for the sprawling Hi-Line region. As an RT here, you are part of a 24/7 staffed department that manages everything from routine outpatient PFTs to critical mechanical ventilation in the ICU and emergency stabilization in the ER.

⚠️ Radius Rule: No in-state (Montana) travelers accepted unless their permanent residence is over 250 miles from the facility.

🩺 Role Highlights
Versatile Scope: You will care for patients of all ages, from managing Bubble CPAP for infants in the nursery to managing mechanical ventilation for high-acuity patients in the ICU.

Diagnostics: Perform Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs), Cardiac Stress Testing, and potentially EEGs.

Independence: Rural RTs at NMH are expected to be "registry-ready" and capable of providing critical care support with high autonomy, especially during rapid response or code situations.

Technology: NMH utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to coordinate care across the Hi-Line.

📋 Mandatory Requirements
Certification: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Licensure: Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required by the start date.

Note: Montana licenses expire annually on May 1st. Be prepared for a renewal cycle shortly after your contract begins.

Education: Graduate of a CoARC-accredited program.

CPR: Current AHA BLS. (NRP and ACLS are highly encouraged for this setting).
