Mercyhealth Javon Bea – Riverside is a state-of-the-art facility that serves as a Level I Trauma Center and a regional hub for pediatric and neonatal specialty care. This role is a night-shift powerhouse position, ideal for a tech who thrives in the fast-paced environment of the ER and Operating Room.

✨ Assignment Overview
📅 Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: ASAP

🌙 Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 36 Hours (40hr guarantee in contract)

🗓️ Schedule: 3 shifts per week; includes weekend and holiday rotations.

📍 Location: Rockford, IL

🏗️ Tech Stack: Mercyhealth utilizes Siemens and Philips digital X-ray units, OEC C-arms in the OR, and Epic / Merge PACS for charting.

🩺 Role Highlights
High-Acuity Diagnostic: Perform a wide range of exams, from routine outpatient diagnostics to high-stakes portable imaging in the Level III NICU and PICU.

Surgical Support: Provide expert C-arm and fluoroscopic guidance in the OR for orthopedic, vascular, and neurosurgical procedures.

Trauma Expert: Support the Level I Trauma ER, providing rapid, high-quality imaging for acute injuries and stroke protocols.

Independence & Leadership: You are expected to work with high autonomy on the night shift, providing instruction for radiography students and new partners while coordinating patient flow.

📋 Mandatory Requirements
Certification: ARRT (R) registration is mandatory.

Licensure: Active IEMA-DNS (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) Radiography accreditation is required for all techs practicing in Illinois.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based experience is required.

CPR: Current AHA BLS (must be obtained within 90 days, though most travelers should have it on day one).
