💰 Compensation & Contract Overview
💵 Total Weekly Gross: $3,514.00

📑 Taxable Pay: $2,268.00

🏠 Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246.00

⏰ Hours: 36 hours per week

🚀 Start Date: ASAP

📉 Census Policy: 3 shift call-off buffer with no charge based on patient census.

📋 Job Summary
🚨 MUST HAVE LABOR AND DELIVERY EXPERIENCE! We are seeking a versatile Registered Nurse to join our team in Holdrege. This role is unique, covering Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Adult Med-Surg. You will manage and administer nursing care for patients of all ages, ensuring clinical excellence and compliance with all federal and state regulations. This is an ideal position for a high-level clinician who enjoys variety and the autonomy of a dedicated community hospital.

🌟 Key Responsibilities
👶 Obstetrics & L&D: Direct care for laboring mothers and newborns, utilizing NRP and specialized OB skills.

🏥 Med-Surg Versatility: Assess and treat physical, psychological, and social needs for patients across the entire lifespan.

💊 Medication Safety: Administer treatments using the "Five Rights of Medication Administration."

🤝 Charge Nurse Potential: When acting as Charge, you will assign staff based on acuity, coach team members in problem-solving, and lead emergency response procedures.

📊 Care Planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate formal plans of care using the nursing process.

🎓 Requirements
Education & Experience
🎓 Education: BSN, ADN, or Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

👶 Clinical Must-Have: Significant, recent experience in Labor & Delivery.

💪 Physical Ability: Must be able to frequently lift 40 lbs and occasionally move 100+ lbs.

Certifications & Licensure
🆔 License: Active Nebraska RN License (or compact).

❤️ Life Support: Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP (NRP is mandatory for OB assignment).
