📋 Position Summary
At SIH, we believe excellent community care starts with appreciating our team. We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift RRT to provide high-level respiratory care as part of our multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for evaluating patient outcomes, implementing physician-ordered treatments, and acting as a clinical role model for staff and students alike.

📈 Care Planning: Systematically plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory interventions.
🤝 Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff to adjust care plans based on patient outcomes.
👩🏫 Patient Education: Provide clear instructions to patients and families regarding respiratory disease processes and discharge procedures.
🛡️ Clinical Leadership: Share clinical knowledge with the team and serve as a mentor for students within the unit.
🔄 Flexibility: Accept reassignment to other units within the system when necessary to ensure optimal patient coverage.
🎓 Requirements
Education & Experience
🎓 Education: Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
💼 Experience: Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Certifications & Licensure
🆔 Licensure: Active Illinois State Respiratory Therapist License.
📜 NBRC: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
❤️ Life Support: Current AHA BLS and NRP-MHC required.
