Description
Location: Frederick, MD
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday with one weekend day per month
Job Summary:
Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities include delivering therapy according to treatment plans, documenting patient progress in Meditech EMR, providing patient and family education, and collaborating with the clinical team. Caseloads include orthopedic, neurological, and critical care patients.
Requirements:
Degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
Current Maryland PTA license or eligibility
BLS/BCLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of hospital acute experience (new graduates with strong acute rotations considered)
Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
Experience with EMR documentation
Focus on patient-centered care and excellent customer service
