Job Title: RRT
Location: Lawton, OK
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: Nights
Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves working with adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations in a variety of healthcare settings, providing critical respiratory care, and supporting life-saving interventions.
Requirements:
Active State License.
Cert
Patient Assessment: Examining patients with breathing issues, analyzing blood/sputum, and conducting lung capacity tests.
Treatment Administration: Providing oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy to improve breathing.
Life Support/Ventilation: Managing, setting up, and operating mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe on their own.
Emergency Response: Providing, emergency care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Documentation: Updating patient records, consulting with physicians on treatment plans, and assisting with discharge planning.
Patient Education: Teaching patients and families how to manage diseases and use home equipment
