Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: Rockford, Illinois
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-risk labor and delivery cases and demonstrate strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
Develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
Support patient safety and escalate concerns as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
High-risk Labor & Delivery experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred
Active Illinois RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #295277. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
