Description

Position: CVU RN – Progressive Care
Location: Hilo, HI
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Varied (36 hrs/week after orientation)

Job Summary:
Hiring an experienced Progressive Care / Cardiac RN to provide direct patient care in a 15-bed CVU unit (Step-down ICU + Telemetry). Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, patient assessments, and acute care support. Must be comfortable floating and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Active HI RN License (or must obtain before start)
Minimum 1–2 years recent acute care experience
PCU / Telemetry experience preferred
Current BLS required
ACLS, PALS, NIHSS preferred

Additional Info:

No guaranteed hours
No on-call
Holiday coverage required
Floating required (Med/Surg, ICU, ER, Peds)
Must arrive prior to start date for onboarding
