🏥 Travel RN: Med-Surg Adult – Days in Lawton, OK
Small unit, big opportunity! We are seeking a reliable Med-Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Lawton. If you prefer the atmosphere of a smaller, focused unit and want a consistent 1:5 ratio, this is the perfect spot for you. Work your 12s and spend your days off exploring the granite peaks and wildlife of Southwest Oklahoma.
💰 Compensation & Schedule
Weekly Gross: $2,326.00
Weekly Stipends: $1,246.00 (Tax-Free)
Weekly Taxable: $1,080.00
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) ☀️
Ratio: 1:5 (A manageable pace for quality care)
Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: ASAP
📋 The Role: Boutique Med-Surg Care
This assignment is based in a specialized 14-bed Med-Surg unit, allowing for a closer-knit team and more personalized patient interaction.
Scope: Provide high-quality care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs.
Teamwork: In a small unit, communication is key. You'll work closely with local staff to ensure seamless patient transitions and care plans.
Pace: A steady 1:5 ratio that allows you to stay on top of your charting and patient assessments.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Licensure: Active Oklahoma (OK) or Compact RN license.
Experience: 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg experience required.
Certifications: Current AHA BLS (Required).
Skills: Strong assessment skills, experience with post-op recovery, and a friendly, "team-player" attitude.
