Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Registered Nurse for a Flex Pool role, providing care across multiple medical and surgical units. This position requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to float between departments while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care across medical, surgical, and step-down units
Float between units based on staffing needs, including medical, surgical acute, and cardiovascular units
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Operate and manage equipment such as wound vacs, chest tubes, and medication dispensing systems
Adhere to patient safety protocols and infection control standards
Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
Active State RN license (must be obtained prior to start)
BLS required
ACLS preferred
Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC, ENPC, Procedural Sedation
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Flexibility to work in multiple units and adapt to varying patient ratios
