Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week (post-orientation; no guaranteed hours)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Flex Pool position. The RN will float between multiple medical and surgical units, delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care across Medical, Surgical (Acute), and occasional Cardiovascular units
Float between departments based on staffing needs
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EMR systems (EPIC/Meditech)
Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
Operate clinical equipment such as Pyxis systems, wound vacs, and chest tubes
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications
Active Hawaii RN License (must be obtained prior to start)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Med-Surg / Step-Down preferred)
BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
Preferred Qualifications
PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or Procedural Sedation certifications
Experience in float pool or multiple unit settings
Strong adaptability and clinical decision-making skills
Schedule & Requirements
12-hour night shifts only
Must be flexible to float across units
Holiday coverage required
Must arrive the Thursday prior to assignment for employee health clearance
