Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, preferably within a high-acuity or trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to deliver high-quality patient care
Perform patient assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations
Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and standards
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Educate patients and families based on their level of understanding
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Respond effectively to complex clinical situations and ensure patient safety
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance
Provide clinical support and guidance across departments when needed
Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Requirements:
Active RN License (State-specific, must be current at submission)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 3 years of RN experience, including:
At least 1 year of critical care experience
Cardiovascular/Interventional (Cath Lab) experience required
Certifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
Must pass EKG competency test during onboarding
