Description
Location: Big Sky, MT
Job Type: Contract (14 Weeks)
Shift: Thursday–Sunday | 08:00–17:00
Schedule: 36 hours/week
On-Call: Not required
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide outpatient imaging services. In this role, you will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and assist providers in delivering accurate and timely imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers
Assist with fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Support advanced procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis
Assist with fluoroscopy-guided PICC line placements
Perform C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR
Educate patients on procedure preparation and post-care instructions
Maintain accurate documentation for imaging, reporting, and archiving
Ensure proper handling and distribution of imaging records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance standards
Requirements
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program (CAHEA or equivalent)
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience (clinical internship considered)
Licensure & Certifications
Active Montana Radiologic Technologist License
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association compliant
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging and fluoroscopy procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional demeanor with attention to detail and confidentiality
