Location: Chico, California
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (10-hour shifts; start time between 0700–0800)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in oncology and chemotherapy administration. This role involves delivering specialized infusion care in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality treatment to patients undergoing infusion therapies.

The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities
Administer infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, in accordance with established protocols
Monitor patients during treatments and respond to adverse reactions appropriately
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control practices
Requirements
Active California RN license
Minimum 4 years of acute care nursing experience in an oncology setting
Recent infusion clinic experience required
Chemotherapy certification required with recent administration experience
Current BLS certification
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Additional Details
Holiday coverage required
No on-call requirement
Candidates must be employed as W-2 through their agency
May be required to float based on facility needs
