🏥 Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVU) that provides care to medium- to high-acuity patients. This unit specializes in managing patients with cardiac conditions, pre- and post-operative cardiac procedures, and complex medical needs.

⏰ Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM start)
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Patient Ratio: Up to 1:4
💓 Patient Population Includes
Cardiac diagnoses and acute myocardial infarction (MI)
Pre/Post cardiac surgeries (CABG, carotid endarterectomy)
Arrhythmia monitoring
Congestive heart failure (CHF)
Post pacemaker procedures
Other complex cardiovascular and medical conditions
🔧 Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced CVU environment
Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking in acute situations
Float to other units as needed
✅ Requirements
Active California RN license
Current BLS & ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
Prior travel experience preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Strong clinical and communication skills
