We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment while gaining valuable inpatient experience.

Location: Lawton, OK 73505
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift
6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Unit Details
13-bed Med-Surg unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Position Overview

The RN will provide comprehensive care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to manage multiple patients, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement patient care using the nursing process
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
Requirements
Active RN license
Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Allscripts EMR preferred
Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
