🧲 Travel MRI Technologist – Day/Afternoon Shift

📍 Location: Zanesville, Ohio
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Day/Afternoon | 6:30 AM–7:00 PM | 3x12s
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week
💻 EMR: EPIC

We're seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital and outpatient imaging setting. The technologist will perform MRI examinations while maintaining high standards of patient safety, image quality, and technical accuracy.

✅ Requirements
Active Ohio License required if holding a Radiologic Technology degree
Minimum 3 years of MRI Technologist experience
Current ARRT(MR) Certification
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Experience with Siemens MRI equipment
Experience with GE MRI equipment
Experience with EPIC EMR
Experience with Fuji Synapse
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures

🧲 Clinical Experience
Perform diagnostic MRI examinations according to established protocols
Operate Siemens and GE MRI equipment safely and effectively
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
Position patients appropriately and provide clear instructions throughout examinations
Evaluate images for technical quality and obtain additional sequences when necessary
Maintain patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures
Verify patient information, orders, and examination requirements
Document procedures and patient information accurately using EPIC
Utilize Fuji Synapse for imaging workflow and image management
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Follow infection control, MRI safety, and departmental standards

📌 Assignment Highlights
36 hours per week
3x12-hour shifts
Every 4th weekend required
Weekend call approximately once every 12 weeks
Holiday coverage required
2-hour minimum callback
May work across hospital and outpatient imaging locations
Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract
