🌟 Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP / Level 1 Nursery Unit | Contract Assignment 🌟

📍 Location: Salida, CO 81201
📅 13-Week Contract
🕒 Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
📅 Weekends Required | Holidays Potentially Required

✨ Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the LDRP / Family Birthing Center / Level 1 Nursery Unit. The RN will provide comprehensive care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients while supporting family-centered care, education, and safe maternal/neonatal outcomes.

🔹 Must-Have Skills:
✔ Active Colorado RN License
✔ BLS Certification
✔ NRP Certification
✔ Strong Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Newborn care experience
✔ Patient education and family-centered care skills
✔ Ability to work independently in emergent situations

🔹 Experience Required:
✔ Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
✔ Labor & Delivery experience required
✔ ACLS preferred

🔹 Education Required:
✔ Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program minimum

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal/neonatal status
• Support and educate mothers on breastfeeding and infant care
• Collaborate with nursery nurse for couplet care
• Assist physicians with obstetric procedures
• Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation
• Communicate patient status to providers and leadership
• Maintain a safe and organized birthing environment
