🌟 Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehab | 26 Weeks 🌟

📍 Location: Hilo, HI 96720

⏳ Duration: 26 Weeks
🕒 Shift: 5 Days/Week (May Include 1 Weekend Day)

🩺 Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an Inpatient Rehab / Acute Care setting. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing therapy, including advanced diagnostic procedures, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

✔ Active Hawaii SLP License (required by start date)
✔ BLS Certification (required)
✔ ASHA Certification (preferred/required per facility)
✔ Strong experience in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) Studies
✔ Ability to work independently in acute rehab settings

📌 Experience Required:

✔ Minimum 3 years experience
✔ Experience in Acute Care / Rehab / SNF settings
✔ Must be able to perform MBS studies independently

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies independently
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Provide patient and family education
• Float to other units or facilities as needed based on census

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #296126. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
