🏥 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Nurse Manager (MSU – Medical Surgical Unit) to provide leadership, direction, and oversight of the Med Surg unit. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, staff management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

✔ Active Colorado RN License
✔ Strong leadership and team management experience
✔ Expertise in Med Surg clinical operations
✔ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
✔ Knowledge of regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, etc.)

📌 Experience Required:

✔ Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in Med Surg or similar unit
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
✔ Master’s Degree (MSN) preferred

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily leadership, supervision, and operational oversight of the Med Surg Unit
• Develop staffing plans and ensure appropriate workforce allocation
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
• Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in on-call leadership rotation
• Assist with budgeting and resource management
• Maintain readiness for audits and accreditation surveys

📜 Certifications Required:

✔ BLS (required prior to employment)
✔ ACLS (required prior to employment)
✔ PALS (within 6 months of hire)
✔ TNCC/TCAR (within 6 months of hire)
✔ NE-BC (within 3 years or when eligible)
