📍 Location: Kealakekua, HI 96750
⏳ Duration: 26 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Day Shift (with some weekends)
⏰ Hours: 36–40 Hours/Week (Flexible)

🏥 Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide inpatient acute care services across multiple facilities. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and helping patients regain independence in daily activities while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

📍 Work Schedule Details:

✔ Split schedule between two facilities
✔ Approx. 3 days/week at Kona facility & 2 days/week at Kohala facility
✔ Includes 1 weekend day (flexible)

✅ Must-Have Skills:

✔ Active Hawaii Occupational Therapist License
✔ Strong inpatient acute care experience
✔ Excellent patient assessment and rehabilitation planning skills
✔ Ability to work across multiple care settings
✔ Strong communication and teamwork abilities

📌 Experience Required:

✔ Minimum 1 year of OT experience
✔ Acute care experience preferred

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide treatment to improve functional independence
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
• Ensure compliance with safety and care standards

📜 Certifications Required:

✔ BLS (Basic Life Support)
