**13-Week Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours**

Seeking an experienced **Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment at **Altru Hospital – Devils Lake** in North Dakota. Join a collaborative maternity care team dedicated to providing exceptional care for mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.

### Requirements:
- Active North Dakota RN License or Compact RN License (required by start date)
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- 3 years Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Strong maternal and newborn assessment skills

### Assignment Details:
- 13-week contract
- Rotating 3 x 12-hour Day/Night shifts
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No holiday coverage required
- W-2 employment only (No 1099)

### Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor process
- Assist physicians during deliveries and obstetric procedures
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment
