Travel RN – Med Surg Adult (Renal Unit)

📍 Location: Ohio

📅 Duration: 13 Weeks

🕒 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

⏱ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Renal/Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have strong Med Surg and telemetry experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with complex medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements

Active Ohio RN License

Minimum 5 years of recent Med Surg experience

Strong Telemetry experience with the ability to independently interpret telemetry strips

Current BLS Certification

Epic EMR experience required

Renal nursing experience preferred

Previous travel experience preferred

Ability to float to similar Med Surg units as needed

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med Surg and renal patients

Assess, monitor, and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions

Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to patient status changes

Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately

Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs

Float to comparable units as required while maintaining quality patient care

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #296924. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
