**Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Washington**
**13-Week Contract | Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours**

Seeking a compassionate **Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment at **Skagit Valley Hospital** in Washington. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced L&D RN dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process. Candidates must be flexible to **float between Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital** as needed.

**Requirements:**
* Active Washington State RN License
* Minimum 3 year of Labor & Delivery experience
* Current American Heart Association BLS certification
* Current NRP certification
* Current C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
* Strong maternal and newborn assessment skills

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* Night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required ($4/hour pager; 2-hour callback minimum)
* No holiday coverage required
* W-2 employment only (1099 not accepted)
* Facility may float travelers between Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital
* Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum
* Monitor maternal and fetal status using continuous electronic fetal monitoring
* Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and obstetric procedures
* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
* Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery
* Accurately document patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
* Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient-centered care
