Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) – Colorado | 13 Weeks | Nights

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado. The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care services, including ventilator management, airway management, patient assessment, medication administration, and critical care support for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
Perform respiratory assessments and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretation.
Assist with airway management, including bag-mask ventilation, suctioning, and intubation support.
Administer respiratory medications and therapies safely and accurately.
Monitor patient response to treatment and document findings appropriately.
Troubleshoot and maintain cardiopulmonary equipment.
Participate in patient care rounds, department meetings, and ongoing education activities.
Assist with training and orientation of new staff and students as needed.

Requirements:
Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program.
Current CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC.
Current BLS certification.
Current NRP certification or ability to obtain per facility requirements.
Minimum Three year of hospital respiratory therapy experience.
Active state license as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with pulmonary diagnostics.
Experience with cardiac diagnostics, including EKGs, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, and cardiac stress testing.
Critical care and ventilator management experience.

Assignment Details:
13-week contract
Night shifts
36 guaranteed hours per week
Overtime after 40 hours/week
No holiday coverage required
