Description

**Travel RN – Flex Pool (Med-Surg/Stepdown) | Hilo, HI**
**13 Weeks | Nights | 36 Hours/Week**

We are seeking an experienced **Flex Pool Registered Nurse** to float between Medical, Surgical, and Stepdown units on Hawaii's Big Island.

**Requirements:**
* Active Hawaii RN License (or must apply upon offer acceptance and obtain before start)
* BLS required
* ACLS required
* Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg and/or Stepdown experience
* Ability to float between multiple inpatient units
* EPIC/Meditech experience preferred

**Preferred Certifications:**
* PALS
* TNCC
* ENPC
* Procedural Sedation

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
* 36 hours/week after orientation
* No guaranteed hours
* Holiday coverage required
* Float between Medical, Surgical Acute, and Cardiovascular units
* Must arrive Thursday prior to start date for mandatory Employee Health appointment on Friday

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care across multiple inpatient units
* Monitor and assess Med-Surg and Stepdown patients
* Administer medications and treatments
* Utilize EPIC/Meditech EMR and unit equipment including Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
