🚨 **Travel RN – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) Opportunity** 🚨

We are seeking an experienced **Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse** for a **13-week travel assignment**.

📍 **Janesville, Wisconsin**
🗓 **Start Date:** ASAP (Quick Start)
⏳ **Contract Length:** 13 Weeks
🕒 **Shift:** Nights – 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
📅 **Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required**
🏥 **Specialty:** Adult Medical-Surgical

### Requirements:

✔ Active Wisconsin RN License
✔ Current BLS/CPR Certification
✔ Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
✔ Flu Vaccination Required
✔ Minimum 3 Years of Recent Emergency Room Experience
✔ EPIC EMR Experience Preferred
✔ Ability to Float to Other Units as Needed

### Preferred Qualifications:

✔ Strong Adult Medical-Surgical nursing experience
✔ Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment skills
✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
✔ Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

### Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and shared governance initiatives
• Float to other units as required to support patient care needs
• Promote patient safety and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command
