Travel Med/Surg RN | Pagosa Springs, CO
13 Weeks | Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for seasoned travel nurses who thrive in an independent night shift environment and are experienced with acute inpatient care.

Requirements:
Active Colorado RN License
Current AHA BLS Certification
ACLS Certification (or completion within 3 months)
PALS Certification (or completion within 3 months)
Minimum 5 years of Med/Surg or Emergency Room RN experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Cerner EMR experience required

Assignment Details:
13-week contract
Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Three 12-hour shifts per week
36 hours per week
Holiday coverage required
Cerner EMR
No guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive inpatient Med/Surg nursing care, including patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, blood products, and patient education
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes
Complete accurate documentation and care planning within Cerner EMR
Coordinate patient care using SBAR handoff communication
Interpret cardiac rhythms and provide appropriate nursing interventions
Maintain patient safety, infection prevention standards, and quality care throughout the shift
