Travel NICU / Nursery RN | Opelousas, LA
8 Weeks | Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced NICU / Nursery Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with neonatal experience looking for an immediate start in a supportive hospital environment.

Requirements:
Active Louisiana RN License
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current NRP Certification
Minimum 3 years of Nursery or NICU RN experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Assignment Details:
8-week contract
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Immediate start available
Cerner EMR
No guaranteed hours
No holiday coverage required

Responsibilities:
Provide specialized nursing care for newborns in the Nursery and NICU
Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and continuous monitoring
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to deliver safe, family-centered care
Educate parents and caregivers on newborn care and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and neonatal care standards
