🚨 Travel RN – Surgical Services Specialty Opportunity 🚨

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services Specialty Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment.

📍 Pagosa Springs, Colorado
🗓 Start Date: July 20, 2026
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Day Shifts (Rotating Start Times)
🏥 Specialty: Surgical Services / Pain Management / Specialty Clinic RN

**Requirements:**
✔ Active RN License
✔ Current BLS Certification (AHA)
✔ Current ACLS Certification
✔ Minimum 5 Years of Outpatient and/or Hospital Nursing Experience
✔ Cerner EMR Experience Required
✔ Previous Travel Experience Required
✔ Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office & EHR)

**Preferred Qualifications:**
✔ Pain Management Experience
✔ Surgical Services Experience
✔ Specialty Clinic Experience
✔ Procedural Nursing Experience
✔ Patient Navigation & Care Coordination Experience

**Responsibilities:**
• Coordinate patient care from initial clinic visit through surgery, procedure, and follow-up
• Serve as the primary liaison between providers, surgical services, clinic staff, and patients
• Perform patient assessments, care planning, education, and follow-up
• Coordinate referrals, insurance authorizations, and outstanding patient orders
• Prepare patient charts, review laboratory and radiology orders, and verify documentation
• Triage patient phone calls and respond to patient portal messages
• Administer medications and document accurately in Cerner EMR
• Complete medication reconciliation, intake assessments, and surgical histories
• Assist with procedure scheduling, booking sheets, and prior authorizations
• Maintain sterile procedure areas and support quality patient care
• Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff while maintaining patient safety and infection control standards
