Travel RN – Med Surg | Nights | York, Maine

We’re seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in York, Maine.

Assignment Details:
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week; three 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call: No call required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
Openings: 2

Requirements:
Active Maine RN license
Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
Previous Med Surg experience required
Telemetry experience preferred
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
Flu vaccination required by the State of Maine

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in clinical status.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor telemetry patients and promptly communicate rhythm or condition changes to the care team.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to support quality outcomes.
Perform patient education related to diagnoses, medications, procedures, discharge planning, and recovery.
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Support a safe, patient-centered environment while following infection-control and safety standards.
