**Travel Echo Sonographer | York, ME**
**13 Weeks | Monday–Friday Days | 40 Hours/Week**

We are seeking an experienced **Echo Sonographer** for a **13-week travel assignment** supporting its Cardiology team in York, Maine.

**Requirements:**
* Active credential as **Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)** or **Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)** (preferred; registry required within one year of employment)
* Current BLS Certification
* Minimum 3 years of Echo Sonographer experience
* Proficiency in Adult Echocardiography, including:
* Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
* Stress Echocardiography
* Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
* Strong knowledge of echocardiography equipment and imaging protocols

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Monday–Friday between **8:00 AM – 5:00 PM**
* Weekend call required (1 weekend every 4 weeks, Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
* No holiday coverage required
* No 1099 contracts accepted

**Responsibilities:**
* Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography studies, including TTE, Stress Echo, and TEE procedures
* Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process
* Produce accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation
* Monitor patients during procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards
* Educate patients and caregivers while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
* Collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to support efficient patient care and workflow
* Maintain equipment, organize exam rooms, document studies accurately, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
