**Travel Med-Surg RN – Surgical Unit | Nights | Janesville, WI**
**13-Week Contract | 36 Hours/Week | Nights**

We are seeking an experienced **Med-Surg Registered Nurse** for a 13-week travel assignment on an Adult Surgical Unit with a small pediatric patient population.

**Requirements:**
* Active Wisconsin RN License
* Minimum 3 year of Med-Surg experience
* Current BLS/CPR Certification
* Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
* Education verification required
* EPIC EMR experience preferred

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* Night Shift: **6:30 PM – 7:00 AM**
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Every other weekend and holiday required
* Float to other appropriate units as needed
* No on-call
* No 1099 contracts accepted

**Responsibilities:**
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
* Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital policies
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
* Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team
* Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
* Support patient safety initiatives and participate in quality improvement activities
* Educate patients and families throughout hospitalization and discharge
