🌺 Travel Progressive Care RN Opportunity – Hilo, Hawaii 🌺
Position: Progressive Care RN / Cardiac PCU
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied shifts; 36 hours per week after orientation
Seeking an experienced Progressive Care RN for a 15-bed unit consisting of 12 telemetry beds and 3 step-down ICU beds. Patient ratios are 1:4 in Progressive Care and 1:3 in Step-Down ICU.
Requirements:
• Active Hawaii RN license required by the assignment start date
• Minimum 3 years of RN PCU experience
• At least 3 year of recent acute-care hospital experience
• Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
• Current BLS required
• ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS preferred
• Must be comfortable floating to Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER units as needed
• Experience with Meditech charting, Pyxis, BiPAP, continuous cardiac monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and fingerstick blood glucose checks preferred
This role includes primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, and care of step-down ICU patients. No call is required; however, holiday coverage is required. Please note that hours are not guaranteed.
