**Travel RN – Med-Surg/Telemetry/Observation | Colorado**
**13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours**

Seeking an experienced **Med-Surg Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment caring for adult patients in an Acute Care/Observation setting. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care for medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, and observation patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Candidates must be willing to participate in weekend and call rotations.

**Requirements:**
* Active Colorado RN License
* Minimum 3 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or related RN experience
* Current BLS (American Heart Association)
* Current ACLS (American Heart Association)
* Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Permanent residence must be at least 75 miles from the assignment location
* Colorado CAPS background process required prior to start
* Resume, Nursys License, Skills Checklist, BLS, and ACLS cards required with submission
* Seasonal flu vaccination required (no exemptions accepted during flu season)

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend rotation required
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Holiday coverage required
* Call rotation required (1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed)
* W-2 employment only (1099 not accepted)

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Observation patients
* Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans
* Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses
* Provide intermediate level care as needed
* Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR
* Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
* Educate patients and families while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
