**Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER) | Illinois**
**13-Week Contract | Night Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours**

Seeking an experienced **Emergency Room Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment at **St. Joseph Memorial Hospital** in Murphysboro, Illinois. Join a collaborative emergency department team providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements:**
* Active Illinois RN License
* Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
* Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
* TNCC preferred
* Strong critical thinking and emergency assessment skills

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
* 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
* No holiday coverage required
* No 1099 – W-2 employment only

**Responsibilities:**
* Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care for patients of all ages
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
* Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to emergencies
* Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
* Accurately document patient care and clinical findings
* Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
* Delegate tasks appropriately and promote patient safety and quality care
* Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
