**Travel RN – Emergency Department | Vermont**

**13-Week Contract | Mid Shifts | 72 Hours Bi-Weekly**

We’re hiring experienced **Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RN)** for a travel assignment in Vermont!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• Active **Vermont RN License** or eligible to obtain upon acceptance
• **Minimum 3 years of ER experience required**
• Current **BLS**
• **ACLS, PALS & TNCC required**
• Strong emergency and critical-care nursing skills
• Excellent assessment, triage, and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a Critical Access Hospital setting

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• Mid shifts: **11:00 AM–11:00 PM** or **1:00 PM–1:00 AM**
• Some rotating shifts
• **Every other weekend**
• **72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly**
• Holiday coverage required
• **Cerner EMR**
• No 1099 — **W-2 employment only**
• Personal transportation strongly recommended
• Quarterly department education sessions required

🔹 **Responsibilities:**
• Perform emergency patient assessments and triage
• Provide timely care to patients with acute and critical conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Monitor patient status and recognize changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow emergency nursing protocols and patient-safety standards
• Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced environment
