🕐 Shift:** Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
📋 Schedule:2 × 12-hour shifts/week
⏱️ 32 hours/week guaranteed
🌙 Weekend rotation required

### Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide quality nursing care to maternal and newborn patients. The RN will also cross-train and care for Med-Surg/EICU patients when needed.

### Responsibilities

Perform maternal and newborn assessments
Complete nursing histories and individualized care plans
Triage patients based on presenting symptoms Manage labor progression, inductions, and cervical ripening
Perform and interpret fetal heart monitoring
Care for high-risk OB patients and pregnancy-related complications
Respond to obstetric emergencies including:

Prolapsed cord
Breech delivery
Postpartum hemorrhage
Precipitous delivery
Uterine rupture
Meconium
Placental abruption
Placenta previa
Perform neonatal assessments and resuscitation within scope
Recognize and manage neonatal sepsis
Monitor newborns for hypoglycemia, hypothermia, jaundice, and other complications
Provide patient and newborn-care education
Communicate changes in patient condition to providers and care teams
Float/cross-train to Med-Surg/EICU as needed

### Requirements

Wisconsin RN License
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
BLS – AHA
NRP
ALSO preferred/required within specified timeframe
STABLE certification
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Strong OB/L&D clinical skills
Excellent attention to detail

13-week contract
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
2 × 12-hour shifts per week
32 hours/week
Weekend rotation
Holiday coverage required
No call
