**Rural West Texas**
**13-Week Contract | Night Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours**

We’re hiring an experienced **Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)** for a travel assignment in Texas!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• **Minimum 3 years of recent ER nursing experience required**
• Current **Texas RN License**
• Current **TNCC**
• Current **ACLS**
• Current **PALS**
• Current **BLS**
• Strong emergency nursing and critical-care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced rural emergency department

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM**
• **36 guaranteed hours/week**
• Holiday coverage required
• **CPSI/Evident EMR**
• No on-call
• W-2 employment only

🔹 **About the ER:**
• Level IV Trauma Center
• 8-bed Emergency Department
• Approximately 30 patients/day
• Emergency Medicine–boarded physicians available 24/7
• Rural emergency care environment

🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
• Rapidly assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition
• Administer medications and emergency treatments
• Assist with trauma and critical-care interventions
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow trauma, emergency, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols
