We’re hiring an experienced **ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN)** for a travel assignment in Hawaii!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• **Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience required**
• Current **Hawaii RN License**
• Current **BLS**
• Current **ACLS**
• Current **PALS – Required**
• **Pediatric ICU/Pediatric nursing experience required**
• Strong adult critical-care experience
• Ability to care for critically ill patients and respond to changing patient conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **12-hour day or night shifts**
• **72 hours every 2 weeks**
• Holiday coverage required
• **EPIC EMR**
• No on-call
• W-2 employment only

🔹 **Unit Details:**
• 9-bed ICU
• Standard ratio: **2 patients to 1 nurse**
• 1:1 ratio when clinically indicated
• Med/Surg overflow may increase ratios to 3–4 patients per nurse
• Minimum of 3 nurses scheduled per shift
• Adult ICU with occasional stable pediatric patients
• Unstable pediatric patients are transferred to a higher level of care
• May float to other departments to assist, but will not take a full patient assignment
• Additional compensation may apply for charge nurse duties

🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill adult patients
• Occasionally care for stable pediatric patients
• Perform continuous patient assessment and monitoring
• Manage complex critical-care conditions and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Monitor hemodynamic and physiological changes
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow ICU, infection-control, and patient-safety standards
• Support the team during high-acuity situations
