Position Overview

Seeking an experienced X-Ray/Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and mammography procedures while providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiography procedures
Perform mammography procedures and breast imaging
Prepare and position patients for examinations
Operate radiography and mammography equipment
Select appropriate exposure factors while maintaining radiation safety
Evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification
Correlate patient clinical history with imaging procedures
Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients
Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures when required
Practice appropriate aseptic techniques
Administer contrast media/medications when permitted by scope and facility policy
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Float to other qualified imaging departments as needed
Participate in required education and training
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
Requirements

✅ Active Oregon license/OBMI
✅ ARRT(R) certification
✅ ARRT(M) certification
✅ BLS certification
✅ Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
✅ X-Ray and Mammography experience
✅ Strong patient care and communication skills
✅ Ability to safely operate imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety standards
