Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in OB/GYN to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and produce high-quality sonographic images to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures
Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations
Produce and communicate high-quality sonograms
Identify normal and pathological anatomical features
Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations
Explain procedures and provide patient instructions
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
Follow established ultrasound protocols and safety procedures
Recognize and troubleshoot basic equipment issues
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation
Communicate findings and relevant information to the healthcare team
Provide compassionate and professional patient care
Requirements

✅ RDMS certification required
✅ OB/GYN RDMS registration required within 1 year of hire/transfer
✅ BLS certification
✅ High school diploma or equivalent
✅ Completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program preferred
✅ At least 3 year of ultrasound experience preferred
✅ Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and ultrasound protocols
✅ Ability to recognize normal and abnormal sonographic features
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
