We’re hiring an experienced **Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)** for a travel assignment in Colorado!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• **Minimum 4 years of Obstetrics/L&D experience **
• Active **Colorado RN License**
• Current **CPR/BLS certification**
• **NRP certification**
• **ACLS certification**
• Strong labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care experience
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM**
• **36 hours/week**
• On-call required
• Holiday coverage required
• **1 position available**
• W-2 employment only
• Critical Access Hospital

🔹 **L&D Responsibilities:**
• Provide direct care to women throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor process
• Perform comprehensive maternal assessments
• Assist with C-sections and inductions
• Provide immediate newborn care
• Administer IV medications and treatments
• Prepare delivery rooms and equipment
• Support patients emotionally throughout labor and delivery
• Coordinate patient transfers as needed
• Provide postpartum and infant care
• Educate patients and families on maternal and newborn care
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Follow sterile technique and infection-control practices
• Recognize and respond to changes in maternal or newborn condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the OB care team
