We’re hiring an experienced **Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN)** for a travel assignment in Oregon!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• **Minimum 3 years of CVOR/Cardiac Surgery nursing experience **
• Active **Oregon RN License**
• Current **BLS**
• **ACLS required**
• **CVOR/Open Heart experience required**
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred
• Strong cardiac surgical and perioperative nursing experience

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• Day/varied shifts
• Rotating weekends
• **40 guaranteed hours/week**
• Holiday coverage required
• **EPIC EMR**
• **1 position available**
• W-2 employment only

🔹 **CVOR Responsibilities:**
• Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac surgery patients
• Assist with open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for cardiac procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection-control standards
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
• Provide perioperative care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Support procedural sedation cases as appropriate
• Scrub and/or circulate during cardiac surgical procedures
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Ensure appropriate surgical supplies and equipment are available
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Promote patient safety and high-quality outcomes
