Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehabilitation RN. The unit provides care similar to a medical-surgical floor, with the exception of Heparin drips.

The patient population has a high neurological/stroke population, making stroke experience valuable. Stroke certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities
Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons
Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
Participate in continuing education
Manage workplace conflict using professional communication skills
Requirements
Current Illinois RN License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Minimum 3 years of experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or comparable medical-surgical nursing
Ability to care for a high-neurological/stroke patient population
Stroke certification preferred, but not required
